Standards for participating in Loop Health communities.
Loop Health is a community of people pursuing better health together. These guidelines keep that community safe, respectful, and useful for everyone. By participating in any Loop community space — posts, comments, direct messages, groups, and live events — you agree to follow them.
Treat other members the way you'd want to be treated. Disagreement is welcome; personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, and bullying are not. Do not target anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Members often share personal experiences, protocols, and results. That is part of what makes Loop valuable — but personal experience is not medical advice. Do not present yourself as a member's clinician, diagnose conditions, or tell others to start, stop, or change a treatment. Always frame what you share as your own experience, and encourage others to work with a qualified healthcare provider.
Do not post claims that are false, unsupported, or that could cause harm if acted on — including miracle cures, guaranteed outcomes, or advice that contradicts established safety guidance. When you cite research, link to it. We may remove content that misrepresents evidence or could mislead members into unsafe decisions.
Loop is not a marketplace. Do not buy, sell, trade, advertise, or solicit prescription medications, controlled substances, or research compounds between members, and do not share sourcing for them. Prescription and clinical products are available only through Loop's licensed, regulated fulfillment partners after appropriate clinical review. Posts that arrange member-to-member transactions will be removed.
Do not share other people's private information — names, contact details, medical information, lab results, or photos — without their explicit permission. Be thoughtful about your own sensitive health information too; anything you post may be seen by other members. Screenshots and re-sharing of private conversations are not allowed.
Be yourself. No impersonation, no fake accounts, no spam, and no using the community primarily to promote an outside product, service, or business. Self-promotion that isn't relevant and genuinely helpful to the conversation may be removed.
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it using the report control on the post or message, or contact our team. Reports are reviewed by Loop moderators. We may remove content, issue warnings, or — for serious or repeated violations — suspend or remove accounts. We aim to be fair and consistent, and to explain our decisions where we can.
We may update these guidelines as the community grows. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. Continued participation after an update means you accept the revised guidelines.
If you have questions about these guidelines, reach out to the Loop team — we're here to help.
