Loop Health uses cookies and similar local-storage flags to keep you signed in and to understand how the product is used. We don't sell your data, and we don't use third-party advertising trackers. You can change your preference at any time using the banner on the home page or by clearing your browser storage.
These are required for the site to function — sign-in sessions, CSRF protection, and short-lived state like the in-progress promo code. They cannot be disabled.
We use PostHog to measure page views, button clicks, and aggregate session shapes so we can find broken flows. PostHog is configured with person_profiles: identified_only, PHI redaction on URLs and referrers, and input masking on session recordings. If you choose Reject non-essential in the banner, no PostHog events are sent and no PostHog cookies are written.
When something breaks, we use Sentry to capture the stack trace and a redacted snapshot of the URL. Sentry events do not include cookies or local-storage values and are filtered through our PHI scrubber before being sent.
The banner re-appears whenever you clear site data, switch devices, or sign in fresh. For authenticated members the choice is mirrored to your account so it persists across devices.
